Salad dressing for immune system health

My homemade Basic but incredible tasting immune system building salad dressing !! great for salads, or even take a teaspoon daily to ward off those cold and flu germs !

Take half an onion, four cloves garlic, apple cider vinegar, horseradish, olive oil and honey…blend and viola !! 1/2 c olive oil 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/2 onion,  4 cloves garlic and honey to taste :)) about 2 tablespoons.

You can use this as a base, then add flavours such as braggs liquid aminos, sesame oil, walnut oil, avocado oils, lemons or even organic ketchup to make a sort of catalina.

Simple herbal help from your kitchen for your immune system this winter

With everyone I speak with fighting off some kind of bug.. here is a simple tea that everyone can make from their kitchen herbs and spices… of course I happen to have grown mine.. but you probably have them dried in your cupboard somewhere and hopefully not too many years old.. a large pinch or sprig of peppermint, a pinch of sage, a pinch of oregano, a pinch or rose petals, a large sprinkle of cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of lemon balm, and some natural sweetener, either honey or maple syrup… and if you want an extra boost, add ginger and even a bit of rosemary for extra antibacterial anti viral properties. Surprisingly taste very neutral and goes down easy 🙂) There are many other variations.

Broccoli walnut pepper salad

just add my basic salad dressing –

Basic Salad Dressing

4 -5 medium to large cloves of garlic1/2 medium onion

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon horseradish

2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

put all ingredients in blender and serve over salads

optional – add sesame seed oil and braggs liquid aminos for a oriental dressing or organic ketchup and relish for a thousand island style or ketchup for a catalina 🙂

Black Beans, Capers, and Indian Coconut Cauliflower

My Black Beans, Capers, and Indian Coconut Cauliflower

1/2 head cauliflower cut in bite sized pieces
1/2 pound of fresh green beans
start sauteing the cauliflower with 1/4 cup water in the frying pan then do the same with the green beans,
in the meantime gather for bean sauce:
2 cloves crushed garlic black bean sauce
1/2 teaspoon capers
1 teaspoon maple syrup
then gather either a premade indian butter sauce or curry powder or paste and add 1/2 can coconut milk
or
quickly simmer 1 can tomato paste, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1 teaspoon turneric, 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes, 1/2 teaspoon powdered cumin, add 1/2 can coconut milk simmer to mix warm.
